Algebra is, in one sense, just an extension of Arithmetic, and is the language that mathematics uses to give intellectual expression to the structure of pure knowledge. Algebra has important characteristics that make it so powerful.

To provide learners with the required knowledge and skills to manage the finances of a unit and apply mathematical analysis to economic and financial information.
